Reason for Choosing a Management Department

I choose department of  management is because to continue high school with the same majors. Management examines management policies and practices in the context of organisational growth and development, management theory, theories of leadership, communication processes, employment relations and the dynamics of organisational behaviour. The importance of managing people, and of management processes generally, means that courses offered in management are relevant to students across the University.

Management combines well with accounting, finance, marketing, information systems and operations and supply chain management. Management to understand how people behave in organisations, and the nature of power, influence and leadership. Whether aim to be self-employed, an entrepreneur, head your own company; or to work for private business, not-for-profit organisations or government agencies – Management gives me the tools for success! Explore the issues facing individuals and organisations in the workplace today. There are many reasons to study Management. I might even want to become a manager!

I will learn about the importance of human and labour factors in organisations including the structure, design and culture of organisations; management theory; policies and practices; and employment relations issues. Studying Management as a postgraduate discipline is not only for those who want to be a manager. Management may interest because i want to understand how an organisation works. At postgraduate level, i will learn about leadership roles and how people function in organisations. A wide and varied range of roles and careers is open to me when im study Management at either undergraduate or postgraduate level including general management, consulting, business strategy, training and development, recruitment, human resources, employment relations, public policy, business consulting and senior management roles in business and industry.
